It'd been a long week of rainy days, and finally some reprieve, so Aysun found herself taking her lunch break outside, tucked away on a quiet bench on the grounds outside the hospital. It felt like things were mostly back to normal, and yet there was still an air of...something lurking just beneath the surface. What it was, she couldn't quite tell. There were people milling about, and Aysun people watched silently as she ate. Until she saw a familiar one. "JC," she greeted with a little smile as the man wandered closer- the smile stalling a little when she took in the tense set of his shoulders, "I- is- ...how are you...?"

Location: Somewhere in the woods near Shadow Lake

"Manti! Nolur! Hava soğuk! (please! it's cold!)" Blowing out a heavy breath, Aysun pulled her robe tighter around herself as the late night breeze blew her hair about. It was dark, one lone streetlight illuminating the road, and though she had perfect vision, the darkness still made her uneasy. Glancing over her shoulder again, Aysun returned her gaze to her current predicament- the fat orange cat perched way up in a tree, blinking down at her as if in challenge. "Manti, Buraya gel, nolur! (come down, please!)". The pleas were caught somewhere between a whisper and a scream, at her wits end after going at it for the better part of half an hour. Its what she got for trying to domesticate a stray, she supposed, she just didn't think street cats got stuck in trees. "Manti, you- eek!" So caught up in trying to coax her cat from the tree, Aysun didn't realize they weren't alone until she heard the footsteps right behind her. Whirling around, claws instinctively sprouting from her fingertips, Aysun's breath caught- and then she saw who it was. "Vivek. Gosh you scared me, I- what are you doing out here?"

Closed starter for: @cantfightmoonlight (Song) Location: Kings Cross Hospital

The sounds of the busy ER raged on a short distance away, but the hallway Aysun sought refuge in was quiet by comparison. Pulling out her phone, Aysun hit dial on her fathers number again, the one that'd been blocked until recently. And just like all the other times, the call went straight to voicemail, the generic message telling her the mailbox was full and to try again later. Blowing out a breath, Aysun closed her eyes, leaning her head back against the wall and trying to calm the brewing anxiety.

She caught his scent before she heard the footsteps, and both happened long before he turned the corner at the end of the hallway and came into view. Blinking her eyes open she fixed her gaze on Song's approaching form, too late to make an escape. Straightening, she offered a little smile once he was close enough. "Hello," she started politely, a pink flush on her cheeks, "are you...looking for someone...?"

Closed Starter For: @acostacowgirl Location: Bronc Riding

It was with both horror and awe that Aysun watched the event take place, seated safely in the stands and far, far away from any bucking animals. A bell signaled the end of the round, an announcer calling for an intermission soon after, and Aysun got up to wander about. At some point she must've wandered to where the contestants were waiting for their turn, and she spotted a familiar face standing off to the side alone. "Hello," she greeted with a hesitant smile and an awkward little wave, "um, Lara right? ...are you...competing in the bronc riding?" A grimace followed the question, because of course she was, standing amongst the other riders. "Sorry I- um...do you...do this often...?" Suddenly getting trampled by one of the horses didn't seem like such a bad thing.

Closed Starter For: @nicocastillo Location: Wolfy HQ aka The Den

Aysun had lost track of the number of pies she'd baked or the number of flatbreads she'd laid out in preparation to make lahmacun. It seemed that every minute she wasn't at work she was cooking up a storm- she supposed she could've picked up worse vices. That being said, there was only so much she could eat herself, and one thing she absolutely couldn't get behind was wasting food. And so she'd taken to making meal baskets for the people in her life, hoping that the hearty homecooked meals and treats would somehow help in the healing process.

On that day she was carrying a massive basket to The Den, a restless night leading to way too much food in her kitchen by the morning. Aysun was in the process of trying to wrestle the door open with one hand when suddenly she felt it push open from inside. "Oh, thank you," she called from behind the massive basket, unable to see around it but easily identifying the person by scent. "I um, might need a hand getting through the doorway," she said with a sheepish little laugh, "I might have overdone it this time."

Closed Starter For: @dhruvxmehta Location: The Wayward House

While Aysun hadn't had the chance to get to know Kitty well, the loss was felt heavily through the pack. There was a darkness that seemed to hang over the wolves, understandably so, and she was at a loss for what to do. Grief was...challenging. There was no waving a magic wand and making it go away, she knew that. And so she did the only thing she could think of. She cooked. Baskets and baskets of food and treats, pouring into the task in the hopes of coping with her own sadness. With a basket tucked into the crook of each arm, she finally gathered the courage to make her way out to the Wayward House, where she was told Dhruv and Elif lived. She wasn't sure if she was intruding by turning up, but at the very least she could make sure they were fed. Approaching the front door, Aysun hesitated slightly before knocking.

It was right around shift change, which meant the nurses were all occupied with giving and receiving report. She'd heard a patient in the room across from hers calling out for warm blankets that she knew from experience wouldn't come for another half an hour yet. The first time she tried to ignore it, shift change also meaning she wouldn't get her top up on pain meds for a little while. Days of overexerting herself instead of resting was finally starting to weigh on her, the pain starting to set in. But by the third time she heard the person call out, she was swinging her legs out of her bed with a little grimace. Aysun was familiar enough with the unit to know where the warm blankets were kept, and luckily none of the nurses saw her as she went from the supply room to the patient room to drop them off. As soon as she stepped out of the room, she had to pause, leaning her good hand against the wall to steady herself against the sudden rush of lightheadedness.

She was just contemplating whether she had it in her to make the short walk to her room when she saw someone approach from the corner of her eye. "Oh. H-Hello, um, your...Highness...?" she stuttered out, not quite sure how she was meant to address the Fae Queen and not really composed enough to think too much on it. "I'm...terribly sorry to ask but...do you think you could help me back to my room...?"

Closed Event Pair Starter For: Rio

The click, click, click of the handcuff closing around her slender wrist had a flash of anxiety bubbling up in her chest, but Aysun did her best to shove it back down. Of all the events so far, this one was going to be particularly difficult for her. She wasn't much of a social person, she'd gotten used to being on her own and routinely had to take breaks to recharge her social battery throughout the events. It was hard to do that when you were handcuffed to another person, and it was worse that it was someone she'd never met before. An inkling of fear and wariness wove through her as she watched the fluffy handcuff slide around the wrist of her partner, and the anxiety bubbled up again. She was trying really had to unlearn old teachings, to not judge in the way she was taught to judge, but it was hard. That being said, the woman she was cuffed to hadn't done anything to deserve her distrust, and the last thing she wanted was to be rude for no good reason- and 'sorry, I was raised in something of an anti-supernatural cult, I can't help it' didn't really seem like it'd cut it. "...well. This is an interesting way to meet someone," she said with an awkward little laugh after a long beat of silence, her eyes meeting the others' for a second before darting away again, "I'm Aysun."
