The file in Reggie’s hand was vague; lacking much of the information every human being in the system should have. No social number, no current address, and a picture that looks a few years too old to qualify as I.D. It was like this guy had dropped in and out of the world whenever he pleased, leaving the mess that was the Rowe’s unfortunate paperwork.
This also meant no criminal record, which was both relieving and concerning. All these wild rumors and calls, you’d think there’d be more than word of mouth. Some kind of evidence, something in security or witnesses to this claim of burglary in the city regions, something that would say figures this guy would be at it again.
A quick glance at the two way glass says otherwise however. The Sheriffs’ gotten good enough at his job to pick up tension, unease of any kind. But there was nothing, just waiting in the not so much a strangers’ posture. Either this guy had a really good pokerface, or he was following a wild goose chase from someone elses’ paranoia. Again. Well, the folder in his hand gives a soft slap as he closes it. Only one way to debunk this.
"Alright Mr. Kekai.” Guilty or innocent, he could ease the worries of his hurried callers on the matter, settling in the chair across from his company with a low sigh.
“Care you clear me on why you walked in here and asked for this? Awfully odd.”

The flowers in his hand suddenly didn’t seem very appropriate, hiding them in his heated jacket as he takes in his surroundings. So this is a black market hospital. It looked like a hospital, but smaller scale. Almost like an elementary school with its multicolored linoleum squares and kid safe doors, dark blue paint bleeding through the attempt at painting it white, trying to make it seem more sterile, more professional.
He did not see himself in this position three years earlier. There was no turning back now however, stepping quietly into the room a man dressed in thankfully clean scrubs pointed him towards. “Hey Tyson, you awake?” Nick tries not to speak too loud, the steady beep of the others’ monitor reminding him underground or not, he was in a hospital, approaching his almost mortally injured colleague. Who’s going to most likely be tired, drugged up and asleep.
i have a Natsu picture file named "he is burning" and i think that's beautiful
