Temperature rising: delicious #beckscocoa *Chill Bill* hot chocolate, made with with chili peppers and sea salt, plus cacao and sugar for the chocolate - all you need! Just add your favorite milk, or make an awesome vegan version like mine by adding nothing but hot water! 💙 And yes, chocolate maker Michael Beck and I might be long-lost cousins, and in any case are both film lovers, as the titles of his hot chocolate varieties refer to movies, often with whimsical wordplay! 🎬 #beantocup #somelikeithot #aztecrevivalism

The delicious Mexican hot chocolate at beloved #laburdick in #harvardsquare is a marvelous example of what I call #aztecrevivalism, for the warm, rich spices that sparkle in the throat and that are similar to what the Aztecs mixed with cacao for their powerful drinking chocolate! I always adore the vegan version, also soy-free - just add water! #HarvardAutumn2017

Savory application of chocolate, by yours truly, at a taco place: I took #violetskychocolate's heavenly hot habanero chocolate bar - made with 3 ingredients: Ecuador cacao, cane sugar, and habanero peppers - out of my bag and put it on delicious corn chips with fresh guacamole at excellent #brokenenglishtacopub, and in that fashion a dear college friend and I ate practically the whole bar of chocolate, and the whole basket of guac and chips (not shown, eaten)!
