Joshua was sitting on the short wall just outside of WildKat, watching people go back and forth, sipping a coffee. There wasn't much that was going on today. He didn't mind, of course. It's good to have breaks now and again, don't you think?

It was that day, the 75th Annual Animation Music Festival, the corridors of the Concert halls were alive with performers, vendors and musicians. In the dressing room of one of the musicians, stood one young girl who was trying to stay calm.
Aku whined. She was nervous. After her business at work, she had been called into her father's office to be given some unexpected news. How could she be known last minute that she'd be performing at the Concert...Live?! She swallowed, she really hoped that some or even ONE of her friends would be able to make it to the concert.
Last night of liberating freedom. (Semi-open, pre-Lorikki Wedding thread)

So here she was.
One night left and then she'd be a married woman.
Lorraine was still terrified, yet at the same time it felt right. She'd be a Boston as of this time tomorrow - and it sounded perfect.
The partying (apparently she had to have a 'last night of freedom party', and people weren't taking no for an answer) had begun around an hour ago, and already people were getting a little bit...happy. Lorraine had already needed to step in and stop Sonya from drinking her body weight in wine, and soon she'd probably have to do the same to other guests too.
Still, she was happy. And it was funny to be the sober one, watching everyone else's half-drunken attempts to try and avoid embarrassing themselves - it was why she liked to stay sober in a group of drunks - it meant she would have the last laugh when she would be the only one to remember all the antics of the night before when they woke up the next day.
Although hopefully, none of them would be hungover the next day - they had the morning after the reception to be like that, and even Lorraine would probably end up drunk by the end of the wedding reception.
The doorbell rang and seeing as she was the only one capable of walking in a straight line, she decided to go and answer it, opening the door and looking up to see who'd be on the other side.
