Not only would this be borderline suicidal for the Carrier, there’s literally no way the Sire could ever provide that kind of energy unless they had an extremely powerful or reinforced spark.

Yes someone else would likely have to provide energy, but also the Carrier would have to be pumped up on like,, a TRUCK LOAD of supplements to even attempt to maintain their frame through that kind of carriage.
