Why I Don't Sleep

I find myself not sleeping anymore, 

the dreams I use to dream, the nightmares they were a bore, 

So awake I stay, Daydream the day away, 

thoughts of my replies, when the reporters come and say,

"What has influenced you?, Why do you do this?"

I wanna be able to say, its been my one wish, 

from the days where I was younger, and the days under the sun, 

as I sat with a beat playing, let my mind just come undone, 

to write a story, a melody, a poem, a note, 

so maybe one day, the people will know the words that I wrote.
