I saw a lot of jackalope Build-a-Bear mods, so I wanted to make a Wolpertinger!

He's not perfect but I'm pretty please with it! Tracked the making of him here.

So im currently in the works of mega modding a princess luna build-a-bear. Ive been wanting to post about it but that means having my head around it a lil dhxnsksbhe

So anyways, this is basically what she looked like before:

I got two of them, one at a thiftstore on my boyfriend and i's anniverary (called 'MY luna') and a seond one on ebay a few days later (called 'extra/scrap luna').

The first thing i did with my luna (after destuffing and washing her) was take out her original mane and tail, replacing them with yarn

Ive done a lot of yarn hair work, but i currently have better plans than what this is. I finally got thw push to start body work on my luna, using scrap luna parts after one of my system mates took out my luna's hair (he did all the tedious work of plucking it out carefully and saving it to be used later instead of just cutting it, thank youuuu)

This is a concept doodle i did before i even had scrap luna, usually i disregard my conept doodles completely but this one i actually followed through on so far!

The first body mod i did was a chin tuck, which made the face shape already so much better. I dont have any close ups yet, but in later pictures the muzzle has also been reshaped ro be more square instead of the button nose shape.

I cnt post any more pics without reblogging now, but this has been one of my biggest plush projects to date! Ive done work on her nearly every day for the past two weeks now ans i have no idea when ill be done. Everything is going along swimmingly!
