Sweet Recipe: Dear My Jelly Lips-Talk JPK002 Review.
I got lots of sweet stuff from the Etude House Sweet recipe Press Launch a few months ago and I just don't know what to review first coz everything's just amazing!
Now let me catch up! Today, I will be reviewing the lipstick which f(x)'s Krystal endorses! The Dear My Jelly Lips-Talk in JPK002. I knowwww, long name, right?! kkk~
That's f(x)'s Krystal wearing the Jelly lipstick! isn't she pretty!? Oh but yes, Sulli is still my forever favorite. kkk~ Let's see if the Dear My Jelly Lips-Talk actually look like that in real life. kkkkk~ >_<
PACKAGING:
Like what I always say and As expected from Etude House, they do have the cutest packaging ever. Though the packaging of their Princess Etoinette lipsticks is still my favorite. The Jelly Lips-Talk looks more simple with its candy-like bead? details.
The product description can be found on the box, it also has the description on the other side in Korean. Like what it claims to be, it's a sheer-colored lipstick. We won't expect too much pigmentation here since this lipstick is more of like a tint and a lip balm in one.
COLOR:
The one in my Sweet box is in the shade of JPK002 (시럽범벅 딸기 사탕) which literally means "Candy coated in Strawberry Syrup".
It has a tinge of red into it, like strawberries. Though due to its jelly-like texture, the red shade does not come off real heavy.
SWATCH:
Omooooooo~ <3 look at such lovely detail! Now tell me, how are you supposed to use this? I won't even dare to take a swipe coz I want the pretty, princessy, cinderella-like heart carving to stay there. But for review purposes, well, I shall do this. Sorry. haha!
I did it! I swiped it! Noooooo~ Oh okay. Oh yeah that's my wrist, you know it so well. I mean that tiny mole right there. Yeah yeah.
Now look at that beautiful, glossy finish! I swear you don't need a lip balm anymore coz it provides moisture on the lips. By the way, to achieve that color right there, I did 3 swipes of the lipstick. One swipe won't be enough to show on camera. It looks like I just had a bit itch on my wrist that made it a little red. kkkkkk~ So yep, 3 swipes it is.
No shimmers on this, the shine it gives does not come from glitters. It's just the moist of the Jelly Lipstick that gives that glossy shine.
SCENT:
The scent is awesomeeeeee! Smells (and tastes like) yummy strawberries. It's nothing foul which some lipsticks contain (you know the ones the smells like chemicals). <333 Try not to eat it.
WHEN WORN:
I know this, for some of you, is the most annoying part. hahahaha! Selca selca selcaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
This is how the Dear My Jelly Lips-talk JPK002 look on me. I did 3~4 swipes right here so the color will show on camera. Well, I usually do a lot of swipes coz aside from being a girl who can't live without lip balms, I also have very dry lips. They chap like crazy as if I'm experiencing winter or something. Oh weird.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
I will give this lipstick a 4/5. I love how it moisturizes my lips, considering the fact that I have dry, chappy lips. The shade looks very pretty as well regardless of it being sheer. I have a lot of tints and pigmented lippies but I think this is the first lipstick i had that does not have much pigmentation. I love how perfect this is for everyday use or if I wanna go for a heavy eyemake, this sheer lipstick will help draw the attention to my eyes more.
"Hey Andy you said you love it but why do you give a 4 instead of a 5?! Why not make it a 5/5 you unreasonable piece of..." Okay okay.. The missing one point goes to the fact that it does not stay long. Well I'm already expecting it coz the moisture won't make it transfer-free. It will really wear off once you drink or eat, not a even a tinge of color will stay so what you have to do it to re-apply it.
