21 Things that help me regress...because I am 21. From basic stuff to specifics !
Weighted blankets. Miss when I was a kid and every comforter or blanket felt heavy and huge and I couldn't carry them in my arms without them dragging.
Pomegranate juice ! My favorite juice is apple juice, but as a kid I would pretend I was a vampire and the pomegranate juice made more sense.
Trees ! I like looking up through the leaves and literally being too small for such a big world.
Tea bags inside paper ! Some teas use folded paper and make it look like an envelope and when I was a kid, I used to pretend I was reading off names for awards.
Playdoh ! Used to have a lot as a kid and the smell makes me happy.
RP ASMR ! I like that for different role plays you can be in a cyberpunk world, a medieval world, or you can be royalty, a dragon, or a stuffie doctor.
Animals ! All animals make me really happy and seeing them around just...I get so giddy I can't even explain it.
Rough housing ! Even if I do get a few scraps or bruises, I'm pretty happy.
Basic gear ! Pacis being my main one as I don't have sippy's or bottles anymore. I use replacements though and they also help.
Toys and stuffies ! I feed my inner child through play before all else. Often repurchasing things that my family threw away and buying toys they would have not given me as a kid.
Open world and immersive games ! I usually have to use mods to really amp up the desired experience. Skyrim as a merchant or healer, Red Dead Redemption 2 as a simple cowboy, Monster Hunter World as a passive hunter that refuses to kill the beasts.
Game achievements ! I like seeing the little icon pop up after getting an achievement and happily spend months trying to get all of them.
Witchery ! Anything that involves magic, be it real witchcraft or in games or books, I live for it. Loved playing as a witch as a kid with superpowers or talking to the dead.
Mechanics ! I am a mechanic (in training) and I love working on machinery or vehicles. Its way more satisfying than any other job I've had (plus the added bonus of money) and things like excavators, cranes, skid steers, semis, and all that is really fun for me. Its new, engaging, physically tiring, mentally stimulating, and rewarding when the job is done.
Nicknames ! I've had maybe three nicknames given to me in my childhood. Princess [my name], Brat, and Stinky. I only really allow Stinky to be used and only one person is allowed to call me that within my family. I never liked nicknames, but after being friends with a few people and trying out more common nicknames like sweet pea, kit, and variations of Glitch, I actually do like them. Just didn't have a good relationship to start with, but looking back there are a few that make me happy to hear.
Being reminded to do silly things. Like reminders for medicine, chores, self-care, etc. First, it feels nice that someone cares, but then if I am in the right mindset, it feels really silly. No, I don't want to do my chores but getting to groan and stomp and laugh beforehand is nice.
Co-Op games, not open online ones. It's cool sharing games with friends and playing together.
Studying ! It reminds me of the fun classes I had in high school, and I treat it like I'm teaching a class.
Driving. I don't have my license or anything yet, so driving feels scary and new and impossible. But when I do it and don't scrap paint or ride up on a curb, I get really happy.
Worksheets ! Not really the purposefully kiddo ones though. I like the ones that remind me of my high school and middle school classes.
Braids, fairy hair, dangly hair pieces, having long hair, all that stuff. Don't know why but shaking my head around with all that stuff is silly fun.
