Throwback to my first Background role in the Hallmark Film “Unlocking Christmas”.
Life as an extra/ background performer be like-
With the Percy Jackson series being greenlit for a third season before the second season is out I think I'm pretty safe to tell you all that I was a background extra again for the show!
I was originally supposed to be cast as one of Clarisse's archers but the production team overbooked and I got the short end of the stick, but I got to be a regular extra for three days.
I know that for a fandom it's a bit tense because Disney is the target of many boycotts - for good reason, I don't even have a subscription - and the future of fantasy shows is rocky (looking at you, Netflix) but I do want to say that it was really fun working on the set for season 2!
As I did for my Season 1 storytime I'll split it up into many posts and then make a main post with links to all of them later.
I have actual journal entries this time unlike Season 1 where I did not write anything down and had to struggle to remember details to blog about... not this time! My laptop is going to die so I'll start writing a bit later :)
I’ve been doing Background work (movie extra) since late 2021. Here are a few of the films I’ve work on (that have aired so far). I’m seeing a theme here lol.
It's my first background gig of 2022. I've missed it ,but forgot how long the days feel. I've also eaten nothing but 4 granola bars cause they did not provide us with snacks:(
Hello! I'm back from my busy week. I had three bg jobs and was at my dad's house visiting so I had little time for internet. Had fun, but it's good to be back
I'm gonna have a couple of very busy days this week, so don't worry if you don't hear from me in a while (says the guy who's gone for three days and blogs 200+ posts then leaves for another three days).
