              SHE’D  BEEN  NERVOUS  ENOUGH  in  the  first  place,  but  it  needed  to be  said.  fatigue  &  nausea  are  already  beginning  to  affect  her,  and  as  of  last  week  her  period  was  late.  it’s  early  morning,  kate  would  usually  be  asleep,  but  the  smell  of  food  being  cooked  in  the  house  ( the  bacon  jeremiah  was  currently  snacking  on )  was  enough  to  wake  her  up,  stomach  roiling.  after  she  brushed  her  teeth,  she  came  downstairs,  leaned  on  the  wall  with  a  look  on  her  face  more  shy  than  anything  jeremiah’s  seen  on  her  features  before.  so  nervous,  there’s  so  much  that  could  go  WRONG  here  and  she’s  fully  aware  of  that.  ❝  i  mean,  ❞  her  index  finger  twists  around  a  lock  of  hair,  teeth  worry  into  her  lower  lip  for  just  a  moment  --  the  picture  of  anxiety.  ❝  i’m  about  ninety  percent  sure.  i  got  all  the  signs.  i  need  t’  see  a  doctor,  though.  ❞
