Happy Caturday from Daddy.

Usually the family don’t hang out in the living room. But it seems that daddy got by me and was watching me get ready for sleep the other night.

He is my buddy. I love him. 💜

These guys keep me going. I made a commitment to them when I brought them into the house.

That’s Batcat in the back on the couch. Daddy (the tux guy with the stripe on his nose) and Mama (the sweet mostly white one) sharing a chair. They are so devoted to each other. Smarty is the tabby on the floor. She’s been hiding under the couch a lot lately. I just gave them some catnip, so no one is hiding. 🤣

The four of them are so very bonded. Closer than a lot of human families. I envy them for that. I don’t envy the life they’ve lived. But I hope that the life they have ahead of them will be good. I’m gonna try my darnedest. I made sure to find a place that had a space that would be good for them. I think this will be good for them.

They’re so good. I love them so much. 💜💜💜

Smarty and Daddy saw something outside that they didn’t like at all. I tried to look out there; but with the way the windows and screens are, I couldn’t see a thing. 🤷🏼‍♀️ They eventually stopped yowling, and got back to resting. They can be so loud. smh.

I always have to remind myself about Smarty (one of my four cats).

Just because she’s meowing doesn’t mean there’s something wrong. She meows like that when she’s playing.

Happy Caturday from Mama and Daddy.

I’m pretending it’s still Saturday here. This was Mama (the sweet white cat up top) and Daddy (the large mostly black guy on the floor) Saturday morning.

It was a pleasure seeing them out and about since a lot of furniture that had been here has been moved out. The four of them (these two plus Smarty and Batcat) have been hiding under the dining room table for the past week. I keep talking to them, but I don’t get close enough to them when they’re under there since I don’t want them to lose their safe space. It doesn’t help that there’s no light in there since I already had my chandelier moved to the new place.

They’ll have a nice space in the new place. But the actual moving them is going to be a bit tough. Once they adjust, they’ll be great. It’s just a matter of when… but it’ll be relatively soon.

I love this little family. 💜
