todays post came together easily. I was on the hunt for my fattie, but he hid before I could get him. but I found this handsome couple, on the power pole. :)

this is the tree in my driveway. I sit here and it is bubbling with life.. this is the tree where I seen my hawk, this is where my fattie lives, and many other birds as well. I love to spend my mornings drinking my coffee watching the wildlife in this tree. It only makes sense that the tree lady would love to look at a tree lol!

Fattie makes his return.. however, I feel I should be prepared to say my goodbyes as the cycle of life seems to be playing out in front of me through my window. I am no genius, but the lacerations I saw on his face last week were probably from the bird of prey I saw yesterday… Hopefully I don’t have to witness it all!

So here today is my fattie in the very tree he always loves to be in, where his predator was sitting 24hours ago, in the same general place.
