Hello Everyone! My name is Aires Dos Reis! I’m currently in my third year of my Bachelor’s of Architecture Degree at the BAC. I’m from a tight knit community just north of Boston MA, and I’ve allways been tied to my Cape Verdean ethnic and linguistic history. In architecture, I hope not to dominate the world, but to listen to it. I design with sustainability, practicality, and evolution in mind, accepting that our buildings are temporary echoes within a much larger, living landscape. By embracing life’s transience, I seek to create spaces that quietly reflect the people who inhabit them and harmonize with nature. Architecture, to me, is not certainty, but attentiveness, the joy of watching, seeing, and leaving behind something thoughtful, gentle, and enduring. I’m grateful for the opportunity to join PCX and am excited to learn from AECOM by watching, listening, and engaging with the realities of architectural practice. :]
