FINALLY DONE, ehem.. anyways, just so you know, this isn't all it, I'm actually writing down on my phone the detailed version, but this is basically the short end of the stick! (Hope my grammar is alright, i uhh eng is not my first (^_^) also I'm very indecisive on clothing choices..)

I've been planning to draw Ivan in my Bad Things AU for a while...he's kind of like a half-zombie, half-spirit, or something like that, idk-

The story takes place several years after the main events, and Andrew is already in his 30s. He's moving forward, has an audience, and a fairly decent fan base. He's left the past behind...or does he just think he has? Or maybe he just likes to remember the good times.

He expected a lot from life, but what...or rather, who appeared at his window that night clearly triggered a wave of panic and fear that he'd long ago buried deep in his mind.

BAD THINGS SWAP AU!

(Cruel Things)

Okay, to begin with, let’s just show the basics of this AU first.

Let’s start by introducing the characters…

Andrew

– Russian. He has difficulty socializing and communicating.

In this AU, Andrew was never free from being tormented by his parents. His father was very strict, wanting to turn him into a “real Russian.”

Andrew and his family left Russia when Andrew was still a child. They moved because of his father’s job, but that doesn’t change the fact that both of Andrew’s parents hate the United States. Overall, his parents are very rigid and have a very stereotypical view of Russia.

Andrew left his parents’ house, but he still lives haunted by the “ghost” of them.

Ivan

- Ivan is very caring and affectionate. He likes making friends. However, no one wants to be friends with him because they find him too weird.

Ivan grew up with a loving father, but a terrible mother.

Ivan’s mother is a doctor and doesn’t have much time for him, while his father is a firefighter who does his best to be a present and caring parent.

Ivan’s mother hates him and blames him for everything. He was constantly hurt and mistreated by her. She was even the reason Ivan got a large burn scar on his face. This bad relationship with his mother caused many fights between his parents, but Ivan’s father never left her because she always found a way to victimize herself or manipulate the situation so he would stay and take care of her.

Ivan does not hate his mother—he desperately wants her love—but that doesn’t change the fact that he fears her deeply.

Ivan is American (on his mother’s side) and German (on his father’s side). However, his father never had time to teach him German.

Ivan gave Andrew a plant as a gift to celebrate Andrew’s new home.

The next day, Andrew visited Ivan and gave him a goldfish.

Ivan was born with some vision problems. But by some miracle, when Ivan got his burn, the eye that was supposed to go blind actually became very good, while the eye that was supposed to be fine became hard to see with, and he can barely move that eyelid. Doctors said this should be impossible, but somehow it happened.

Ivan naturally has slightly pointed teeth. Andrew says that should make other people jealous.

Andrew was born with a condition that makes him not feel heat or cold very strongly. So he can wear warm clothes on a sunny day and not feel hot.

Andrew is gay, but he hates it and pretends he isn’t. Ivan is bi and has had a girlfriend before, but she left him for thinking he was too sensitive.

The axe in this AU belongs to Andrew… and let’s just say he uses it to get rid of someone who hurt Ivan.

Andrew hates Ivan’s mother, and she hates him as well.

Andrew’s parents are homophobic, and Ivan’s mother is too. But Ivan’s father is not.

Ivan wanted an Ouija board shirt, but since he couldn’t find one, he just bought a T-shirt with “yes, no” on it and manually wrote “Ouija, goodbye.”

Andrew (Bad Things) x Gn! Reader x Ivan (Bad Things) | Fluff Drabble

Today had been a rough day, work weighed on your shoulders, pressing down until you felt your knees buck under the pressure.

You felt like you were drowning — as if walking through a thick fog as muscle memory drove you forward, pushing the familiar buttons and walking the only path you knew, right to you and your boyfriend’s apartment.

The room was quiet, as it always was, silent as you took off your shoes and walked to the living room.

Andrew was there, sitting in front of his computer as he played with his phone, the incomplete code pushed to the side as he immersed himself in whatever news he had found online.

He didn’t notice you until you walked closer, his eyes lighting up and hands moving to slip the headphones off his ears.

“Welcome back,” his voice rang through the otherwise quiet house. “How was work?”

You didn’t need to answer, the way your shoulders sagged and tears welled at the corner of your eyes without knowing was enough of a response.

Alarmed, he rushed to comfort you, hands waving in the air as he fussed over you. His words didn’t register to you, not as you fell forward, letting him catch you in his arms.

You could feel the way he froze up at the contact before relaxing and wrapping his arms around you.

His voice fell to murmurs, gentle kisses pressed on the top of your head as you sat there soaking in his body heat.

You didn’t even notice when Ivan’s door clicked open, his heavy footsteps approaching you as he made eye contact with Andrew, a silent assessment of the situation.

“Hey,” he spoke, pulling you away just slightly from the pink hoodie, “do you want to go to sleep with us?”

You nodded eagerly, the prospect of a soft bed on your sore, wound up body making you light up.

You were ready to rest, the feeling of exhausted already lulling you to sleep. Ivan was quick to guide you to bed, letting your hands rest on his arms as Andrew followed close behind.

But the bed was colder than you wanted, and it was missing the most important part. You sat blankly on the cushions, staring up at the two before they got the hint.

A chuckle left Andrews lips, “Well, I guess we could all just a break, huh?”

Ivan followed with a hum, and you couldn’t agree more — practically lighting up as you felt the bed dip to support the combined weight.

It was crowded, and a little hotter than you’d like. But it was what you needed, the tension falling from your body as you eyes fluttered shut, feeling the stress of the day fade as it was replaced to the warmth of being surrounded by your loving boyfriends.
