After what felt like ages Arizona had finally landed in Seattle. When she stepped off the plane she realized that she was going to have to find a cab to take her home. Then she realized she didn’t actually have a home there. Seattle was her home in the sense that it was where she belonged, but she didn’t have a place to live. She knew that she wouldn’t be able to just show up on Callie’s door step and expect to move back in so, before anything else she hailed a cab and booked herself a room at a hotel.
The blonde wasn’t expecting her things, that had not been on the plane with her, to arrive for a few days so for the most part she only had her laptop and a duffel bag mostly filled with clothes, and the essentials that she couldn’t easily buy. Once she had her things settled in the room she got another cab over to Callie’s apartment.
Before long Arizona found herself in front of her old apartment. Although she had only recently moved in with Callie before she left for Africa she still have considered it her place, their place. Of course, she knew that wasn’t the case anymore...
The blonde took a deep breath and did her best to lighten up her face. She had no idea how things were going to play out in the next few minutes, but at least Callie knew that she was coming back and would show up sooner or later. With it being almost 4 in the evening, and Callie on call, she hoped that the Latina would be home so she could get the hardest part over with.
The perky blonde stepped in front of the door and reached out giving a gentle tap, three times before taking a small step back from the door and waiting nervously for an answer.
