"––– I would give my life for him to be happy."
badfaith-scorpius:
"Every heard of sarcasm Professor? It’s from Greek, sarkasmos."
"Well, anything can become an interesting topic around here. Quidditch ref’s, what colour top James Potter is wearing. Bored teenagers are really good at making stuff up."
He turned back to reading his book for a few seconds.
"See, this book I’m reading. It could magically become a book on how to kill people, when it’s actually a book about a man called Sherlock Holmes who likes to solve mysteries.."
"Oh, I'm quite familiar with sarcasm. My chasers back in the day lived off it and I was a popular choice to practice their scathing wit on."
The professor slid into the chair facing the teen, one leg casually crossed over the other as he leant back and folded his arms, only to moments unfurl them as he used his hands in various gestures to his words;
"You didn't strike me as the type who'd read Muggle literature, but I suppose I haven't had the time to get to know the students enough to know their likes and dislikes. I wouldn't joke about that, though. There are charms to conceal a name or change it's appearance."
“Gossip’s worth its weight in gold.”
"That may be so, but you’ll find I detest gossip of any kind. Things always ended up a twisted version of the truth — if there is anything resembling truth to them. Take my advise kid, I’d stick away from gossip.
Especially any rumours that involve me.”
'And to think, I become an interesting topic to discuss and I'm only the Flight Instructor and Quidditch ref around here..'

"What did you do that for?"
"You just looked… occupied."
[Scorpius loved his parents, both his mothers were special to him. He of course knew much about his families past and often didn’t question if either his grandmother or mother were… vacant, to see a smile on her face made him smile back.]
[The young woman hesitated for a moment, azure eyes glancing into the distance, before she raised her soft voice again, pulling the corner of her lips into a wider smile.] "Dont worry, Scorpius, I was just thinking."

She lifted the mug up off the wooden table and brought the rim to her lips. The Butterbeer rolled along her tongue for a brief moment before it vanished down her throat. She set the mug back down upon the table, allowing her eyes to wander at the other patrons at The Three Broomsticks Inn. Elyssa spotted a handful of other students sitting at another table. Every so often there was a roar of laughter erupting from that table as the group also enjoyed mugs of Butterbeer.
Elyssa watched the group of students for a few moments. She had wanted to get away from Hogwarts. The past few weeks had proven to be stressful. The small group of friends Elyssa did have did not share this feeling nor did they join her on her trip to Hogsmeade. So she had gone alone which didn't particularity bother Elyssa too much. She was used to be alone. However, she would had admitted that this trip would have been more amusing if a friend or two had joined her.
As she picked up her mug of Butterbeer, she heard someone take a seat at her table. Her gaze shifted a blonde haired, young man. The young man was no stranger to Elyssa. His family name was quite well known around Hogwarts. However, that didn't mean Elyssa had ever had a conversation with the young man.
"Um," Elyssa began. "Do you want me to leave?"
