Alex had not been expecting to be faced with a relatively large and very vocal mob more or less blocking any of the easy accesses to the University when she got there that afternoon. As soon as she got within hearing distance, however, it became clear just what, exactly, was going on.
Lovely. Another anti-monster protest.
A disgusted look crossed the mage's face briefly at the sight of so many people all yelling at the top of their lungs about how offended they were that monsters would dare set foot on such prestigious grounds.
As if most of the people there even had right to complain. They didn't even go to this University!
Sighing, Alex avoided getting any closer to the mob, opting to skirt around the edge of the building, sneaking in through one of the side entrances that mostly only the faculty tended to use in the effort to avoid the crowd out front.
She really didn't want to have to deal with a large group of overgrown babies if she could help it.
Given the mob, she had figured that Dr. Gaster had likely ended up having to cancel the lecture for today, but shockingly when she peeked her head into the usual lecture hall, she was surprised to see him there.
“Beat the crowd here, I take it?” She asked, noting that no one else had entered yet. Fair, given there was still time before the lecture was scheduled to start, and the aforementioned 'crowd' was blocking the main entrance to the building.
