bad night out | bonnie & jeremy & anna
He had the tendency of finding her at the worst times.
Her Friday night was cut short when he’d approached her at a bar while she was out with a friend, a familiar smirk playing at his lips. No matter how many times Bonnie encountered the Original since she'd moved to Jackson, Mississippi, she’d still feel small shivers run up her spine whenever he’d choose to unexpectedly crop up wherever she was. With a side glance to her left where her friend was standing next to her and (not so subtly) checking out the vampire before them, Bonnie tried not to grimace as she made a quick apology that she’d have to reschedule their plans for the night. In truth, the witch simply wanted to get Kol as far away from any of her friends as possible because whether or not he’d promised her he wouldn’t touch anyone she cared about, she didn’t want him anywhere in their vicinity.
They’d located a room at the back of the bar that had a few people lounging around in it; she watched as Kol easily compelled them to leave and Bonnie resisted the urge to sigh before working on setting up her space. The incantation was familiar to her now and the words flowed from her lips as she closed her eyes and concentrated on zoning out the vampire’s occasional snide remark. It wasn’t more than ten minutes before the spell took effect and they parted ways although Bonnie knew it would only be a matter of time before he’d pop up again. Ugh, I need a drink.
She ran a single hand through her hair once before exiting the room only to end up accidentally colliding into someone else. “Oh – I’m sorry – “ The apology was cut short as the witch looked up only to find herself looking into all-too familiar, brown eyes. “…Jeremy?”
