Happy Welsh Bafta nomination day!
Trying something new with a text-only update, because there’s a bit of Aidan news I don’t have visuals for yet and I’m curious whether this kind of post is something you’d be interested in seeing more often.
Aidan’s film Panic Carefully now has a US release date set for February 26, 2027. It’s still a while away, but it’s nice to finally have something concrete on the calendar.
His new horror film Black Noise has officially wrapped and is currently being shown to the crew, which usually means that stills, clips or other promotional material could start appearing fairly soon.
On top of that, his short film Nostalgie has been nominated for both a BAFTA and an Irish Film and Television Award, and it also screened in Berlin last week. Overall, a quietly impressive run of updates.
Thank you Twitter accounts @4everfaisty and @rifflorton for the screenshots.
HE IS PERFECT!
In a recent interview about her BAFTA-nominated short Nostalgie, director Kathryn Ferguson spoke about working with Aidan as part of the film’s cast alongside Jessica Reynolds and Michael Smiley. She described the experience as “amazing,” highlighting the cast’s generosity, professionalism and commitment on set, which made her transition from documentary to drama much easier
Nostalgie, adapted from a short story by Wendy Erskine, has been nominated for both a BAFTA and an IFTA. Ferguson also mentioned that one of her favourite moments in the film is a scene between Aidan and Jessica Reynolds on the ferry to Belfast [Link]
Good morning!
Still haven’t seen the film but I stalked Twitter and found these images.
Charming goofball. I love him. 🥰😍
The “Have a great day.” Gets me every time. 😂
Speechless! Just look at him!
