#FlashbackFriday: Happy “Flashback Friday” everyone!! I had an amazing time this week in Freeport, ME with my family!! The vacation went by way too fast and it was very much well needed!! A favorite place that we go to is Land’s End Gift Shop @lands_end_gift_shop located in Bailey Island, ME!! This is one of our first stops to visit and pick up postcards, souvenirs, and local art from Maine artists! Also at the shop, you can explore their small beach, check out the beautiful ocean scenery, see their lupine, and check out their memorial dedicated to their fishermen that have passed on. #ThrowbackThursday: In case you were all wondering why I wasn't on social media much this past week, viewing this photo will help you figure out where I was :)!! This past Sunday (10/8/2017), my family and I were on vacation in Freeport, Maine. After spending some time shopping at the Land's End Gift Shop in Bailey Island, ME during our first day of vacation, we stopped along a side road where I took a photo of the beautiful Cribstone Bridge (or Bailey Island Bridge as it is also called) connecting Orrs Island, ME and Bailey Island, ME together. This bridge is possibly one of the only granite cribstone bridges in the world. It is also listed in the National Register of Historic Places and it is also a Historic Civil Engineering Landmark. It's not only a cool bridge to cross over to the islands, it's also neat to be able to view the boats, buildings, and see the ocean from both sides of the bridge that you don't normally get to witness everyday from being in the car!! For our second time visiting the "Pine Tree State" again this year, we all had a great time to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery Maine has to offer all year round!!
