Summary:
The woman who piloted the Jet Booster Exosuit for the Kur military, Andamo, hates living on Earth. The gravity is too strong, her revenge against the Kur Emperor has been stolen away from her, her boss wields ultimate power over her, and she's forced to spend much of her time as nothing more than a baker.
However, the little girl that continues to gift her with paper cranes and her mother do make things a little more bearable. Why this human child took a liking to her she doesn't know, nor does she understand why the human mother is so accepting of her. As she gets to know them, things start to change. Andamo starts feeling things she hasn't felt in 100 years. She starts thinking about possibilities that never seemed possible. Could Andamo possibly learn to love again after so long? Could she have a family? How could they possibly accept her if they knew the things she'd done in her past?
