Facelift Or Farce? 'Restoration' Of Palace Shocks Crimean Tatars

Crimean Tatars say the firm picked by Russia-appointed authorities on annexed Crimea is causing irreparable damage to a 16th-century palace on the Ukrainian Peninsula.

I’m so angry about this i don’t even have words for it.

BTW, about the “annexation” of Crimea: My grandmother didn’t  go to vote for Russia, but her neighbor did.They hung out a list of people from the neighborhood who allegedly already voted “yes”, so this lady went to take a look. On this list: 1. my grandmother, who was a) just out of hospital and b)would rather shoot herself in the foot  2. my mother, who wasn’t even in the country or even an official citizen anymore (and would never have voted anyway). 3. me; same as my mother  4.and to top it all off, my LATE GREAT-GRANDMOTHER, who apparently had risen from her grave just to vote for Russia.Oh and you could only vote “Yes”. And now these **** are out there erasing cultural heritage, and all they needed was a half-assed lie,some weapons, and no-one interfering.
