Happy birthday Sero!
So i was working on a request when it popped up on my calendar that Sero’s birthday is today! Yes i have every characters birthday in my phone calendar. No it is not weird. Anyway, enjoy a cute lil Sero x reader + the bakusquad! Enjoy, and as always, asks are open! (Also sorry its so short, i was running out of time)
Sero loves his birthday. Its not because he likes all the attention on him though, he actually likes his birthday because everyone is forced to be nice to each other... for his sake. Of course that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t absolutely love having all the attention on him. Specifically your attention. What? Hes liked you since the beginning of the year, of course he wants nothing less than all your attention. Which is why he was suprised when you were actually avoiding him... on his birthday. He was actually really upset, but luckily Kaminari, Kirishima, and Bakugou dragged him away from his bed and forced him to go to the mall. Apparently Todoroki had given his old man’s credit card to Kirishima as ‘his birthday present to Sero.’ He actually just wanted to spend his dads money, but he wont admit that. So they went to stores, Kaminari got kicked out of the candy store for eating straight out of the buckets, the normal, but it still didn’t feel right to Sero.
After a very successful shopping trip, Sero actually talked about how disappointed he was that you were actively ignoring his texts and any attempt at conversation on the car ride back to the dorms. Kaminari looked to Kirishima, who looked to Bakugou, who was looking at his phone, because he honestly didn’t give a fuck. “I’m sure she’s just nervous to talk to you dude. She’ll be all over you tomorrow, I promise.” Kirishima spoke as he pat Sero on the back.
“Yeah!” Kaminari said a bit to enthusiasticly, “And if shes not, bros before hoes, ya know?” Sero laughed a little, and bakugou looked just as annoyed as always. They continued to sing and talk until they got back to the dorms.
When the group of boys walked in, it was dead silence and all the lights were turned off. Sero went take off his shoes, but then he is startled with a shout.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY SERO!” You shout with the rest of the class. Sero turns quickly to see you walking up to him.
“Happy birthday! It was so hard to avoid you today, sorry if I upset you.” You whispered in his ear as you brought him into a hug. He didn’t really care about what you said, all he knew was he just got a kiss from his crush, and thats the best birthday present he could ask for. You pulled away to look at his blushing face, feeling heat creep on to your own. Its now or never is what you thought to yourself before you smashed your lips into his, the class cheering in the background. Sero’s eyes were wide open, and the kiss was over much quicker than he would have liked it to be.
All he could do was stare at you with wide eyes, “d-d-date? Me? D-do you wanna date m-me?” He asked hopefully.
You laughed at the poor boy, he probably wasn’t prepared for this onslaught of affection from his crush. “Of course silly.” You said as he once more pulled you into a hug.
“Please don’t ignore me again...” he spoke into your hair.
You giggled and stroked his hair, “of course not.”
Needless to say, it was a birthday he would remember for a long time.
