BALLETIC: The giant artwork, on the back of the Isaac Theatre Royal. The work, by Bay of Plenty artist Owen dippie​, was the final piece in Christchurch's inaugural street art festival. A huge amount of talent, dedication and skill went into creating this large work.

This is Joseph Venance.  Originally from Martinique, he worked in France in the field of physical culture (possibly with Edmond Desbonnet).  This sheet of images looks like a sequence of increasing bodily freedom. (1907)
