It was a hard day for Bambi. The first in a long time that she felt the soul-crushing pain of losing a patient, and she had gone back to the apartment to just sit in the bathtub and cry. Forgetting that she had asked Eddie to come over after her shift, he wasn't going to just let her be alone. Which she appreciated. Not many people looked after her aside from her family, and she didn't want to be a bother to them over this. It was like Eddie knew exactly what she needed without saying anything, as if he could read her mind about wanting to take a bath. It wasn't until he was washing her hair, her knees pulled up to her chest, that she finally said anything. "Thank you."
