Day 2
We were supposed to go to the malls but it ended up being too early for it. So we ended up in Lumpini park right next door. It’s Huuuuuuge ;A; ;A; and when we were walking around it, we could really feel how much the push to be healthy is. It’s like a beautiful out door park with a gym inside and a pool and even outside-- there were machines and dumbbells and barbels that could be used. People were walking, biking, running.
Scattered around are places to buy fruits in <3
Closer to lunch, we ended up where all the malls are close to Siam station. A bit over our price budget (except AIS was there and I needed a local sim). But at least we saw the Erawan shrine and got a few groceries and our much needed hangers.
After meeting up with a friend, we ended up going to the Rod Fai Night Market which was huuuuuge! I kept thinking it was already so big but it was still bigger! There was lots of really really cheap food, and drinks. There were clothes and accessories (fake and otherwise). The random collection of vintage things were the strangest surprise at that point.
Needless to say, after more than 25,000 steps that day, my body is sore.
