Buying bananas when you live alone is so stupid. I buy a bunch of bananas at grocery store, wait a day for them to ripen a bit, and then I have 2 days to eat an entire bunch of bananas by myself before they go brown.

Are banana’s on a boat really back luck?

The origin of this superstition is uncertain, but many believe that it began in olden times. Stories ranging from rotting bananas releasing methane gas, lethal if trapped in the hull of a ship, to crewmen slipping on rotting banana waste. Another theory suggested early cargo boats transporting bananas to other parts of the world had to travel so fast to keep the bananas fresh that the seamen didn’t have time to drop nets or lines in the water to catch fish. Whatever the reason, this superstition has been rooted in centuries of maritime legend and I’m sure to will continue for many years to come!
