Preppy Text Banner V2

What You'll Need:

Stripe Pattern - Stripe Pattern

Gradient of your choice which you can find Here

And any font will do i'm using A&S Rhino .

Step One

use your text tool to type your word(s). I’m typing “supernovahtml.” The color does not matter at this point, as we will be changing it eventually. Here’s what mine looks like so far Click Here .

Step Two

Right click and go to blending options. While here, you’re going to add a 2px stroke to your text with a gray color and either (a) add a gradient overlay with the gradient (angle – 0 degrees) of your choice or (b) color your text with the colors from your color scheme.

Step Three

Create a new layer and merge it with your text layer. Go back to blending options and add another 2px stroke, but change the fill type to gradient and select your gradient from the drop down box. Change the angle to 0 degrees. Add a pattern overlay to your text of your choice. I added stripes on screen with fifteen percent opacity.

Step Four

Create another new layer, and once again merge it with your text layer. The only thing you should do on this layer this time is to add a white stroke @ 2px.

Step Five

For the last time, create a new layer and merge it with your text layer. This time, add a scanline stroke at 1px and add a drop shadow at distance zero.

Banner Requirements

hello! my name is Devyn and I am known for making simple banners for people's blogs. I have come around to making banners publicly. First, there are a few things I would like to know if you are requesting a banner. Such as:

1.) What the banner should say

2.) Color of the banner

3.) Font

4.) Background color (If not addressed I assume white) 

5.) If you would like a picture, please send me the link
