The Deridder Roadkill is an unidentified animal that was found dead on the side of Highway 12 in Louisiana in 1996. The Deridder Roadkill is described as a dog-like creature with shaggy, brown fur, a bald face, ape-like legs, a long tail, and very sharp teeth. The Deridder Roadkill was found in 1996 by Barbara Mullins while she was driving on Highway 12 and she originally thought it was a dog until she saw the monkey-like feet and odd face. Eventually the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries examined the carcass and said that it was a Pomeranian which didn’t make sense as the roadkill was the size of a St. Bernard. Cryptozoologists believe that this could be the famous Rougarou which is a famous Werewolf said to live in Louisiana.t
