Now was the time.
Most everyone within the house was asleep. Now was Gladion’s chance to sneak down to the lower levels. He had heard talk about something going on down there; something big. Something important. Something that was supposed to be kept top secret from the outside world. And he wanted to find out what it was.
Almost completely silent, the blonde managed to sneak out of his bedroom, and quietly slipped out through the door to make a break for the main building. He wanted to be quick about it, just in case anyone actually did happen to be awake at this hour-... It was a bit difficult for Gladion himself to stay awake, though the adrenaline did help somewhat.
After reaching the lift with no issue, he punched in the code that he had seen other Aether employees use hundreds of times, and waited for the lift to take him down to the secret labs. This is insane, he thought to himself. This could get him in serious trouble. But that was the least of his concerns at the moment.
