OKAY I just had the wildest/probably saddest revelation about this scene:

You could chalk it up to one of the Barnabys just being weird or even an animation error the crew might’ve kept in for the lolz but if you read the book it’s mentioned that Barnaby A had asthma.

The crew most likely did that unintentionally but I’m still fucked up and wanna kill the parents even more....

Barnaby A: *graphing Halloween candy* We have 458 sweets between us.

Barnaby B: 136 gummies-

Barnaby A: 61 packets-

Barnaby B: 116 lollipops-

Barnaby A: And 143 chocolates.

Jane: Make that 144!

Jane: *trying not to laugh as she holds up their sister* 143 chocolates and an extra Baby Ruth!

You know something that I think is really cool, about the Willoughbys on Netflix, (and I may be remembering this wrong) but the two Barnaby’s, they have one jumper between the two of them and A) I think it’s great that they don’t fight over it. but B) I’m pretty sure that whenever they go somewhere that’s cold, or scary, the twin that is wearing the sweater takes it off and gives it to the other one.
