Byron Weathermay, scientist-ghost, contributed to their statue-ification after answering a call for help from a family desperate to save their child from a disease with no cure. He helped anchor the soul to stone so they could have more time to search for a way to cure her. She was supposed to be awakened when there was one. He did this over two centuries ago. It was so long ago, he doesn't remember their names [he may have mentioned a Brother???? my flabbers were a bit gasted so my memory is spotty]
