Anime Midwest Barstuck

Since it was such a success at Acen, I’m bringing Barstuck back for AMW! 

When: 9 pm Friday

Where: The Red Bar in the Hyatt (main bar in the main hotel)

Ground Rules:

SEAL YOUR PAINT. Feel free to grey up for this, but please make sure your paint is properly sealed so we don’t run the risk of leaving an unholy grey mess behind us for hotel staff to try and deal with.

Don’t try to organize a large group bill. We won’t be the only ones in the bar, so it’s gonna be busy. Things will run more smoothly if everyone has their own tab.

You don’t have to drink, but please try and but something so that you’re a paying patron. The bar does have some food and dessert options. It can be a bit rude to show up at a bar without even buying anything.

Again, we won’t be the only ones in the bar, so please be respectful of all other bar patrons. As was said for the Acen Barstuck, this is just a fun, social get together; no need to crash the bar.

This event is meant to be 21+ (make sure you have an ID; you WILL get carded)

Shit, I know I talked to at least two people at Barstuck whose tumblr URLs I asked for, then forgot them by the time I thought of putting them in my phone. If you guys see this, could you drop me a message so I can follow you? ;v; I usually try to follow everyone I talk to in person because all the Homestucks I run into have a very high chance to be very cool people.

For any older Homestucks attending Anime Boston, we’ll be holding the anual SATURDAY NIGHT BARSTUCK on March 26th!  Barstuck is scheduled for 9 PM Saturday night at the Hilton hotel bar, one of AB’s overflow hotels located directly across from the Sheraton’s front doors.  Cosplays are not required, nor is any actual alcohol - just stop by to chat and mingle with your fellow older fans. There are three rules we’d like to enforce:

As this event will be taking place at a bar that cards, this event is 21+.

Anything you purchase MUST be on your own personal tab. Please do not start any group table tabs with strangers as this can cause huge confusion and trouble when it comes time to pay the bill - be very clear about this when it comes time to order.  This is an informal event, so consider your bill your own.

Because the Hilton Bar is a business, you must order something, be it alcohol, food, or a soft drink.  Please be considerate!
