Look! It’s a thing literally no one asked for!
Well I mean I have been asked by a couple people in the past how I color/how to improve speed and I made a shittier version of this at the time since it’s easier shown than said.
This tbh works best if you do thick lineart like me, though I have tried it with thin lineart and sketches and generally if you’re gonna do that then just be prepared to do a lot of touch ups. Still I find this way easier and quicker than scribbling in a blob then erasing down to the line or straight up coloring with a brush, since both have the potential of leaving spots uncolored you don’t notice and tend to be more tedious.
(Also gonna be honest and say if I have a large section of something that needs to be colored I will use the wand tool and increment to fill them. Saves a lot of time and as long as the hard edges are covered by lineart then why not, right?)
