Lil B The BasedGod by Marilyn Hue, 2017.
strugglin
Lil B, D33J, Shlohmo, Groundislava and Keyboard Kid 206 at the WEDIDIT 10 Year Anniversary show in San Francisco.
Lil b the basedgod
I saw lil b on friday night
The show was amazing
Saw a bunch of my homies, and basedfam
After the show i waited and met him
He was amazing
I was so excited
He saw this
Reached out
Said my style was immaculate
Pulled me in for a hug
I almost started crying
Single greatest incounter of my life
For sure the highlight of the year
Next morning i wake up and he posted our picture on facebook and on instagram
I look fucking insane but whatever
Still one of the greatest moments of my life
I hate the internet
At first i was so happy and in awe and everything
Then fools start talking shit
How is that Based? That isnt based at all, tjat isnt taskforce, that isnt based world
Not all the coments were negative and those positive ones gave me life and i appreciate everything even the bad cause it just goes to shwo you that no matter how happy you are there are just vampires out there that gotta suck the life out you. Fools calling me a school shooter or makin fun of my teeth, when they couldnt afford two of the teeth i have in my mouth let alone my whole look.
Thank you lil b the basedgod, that little less than 5 min interaction/conversation means the world to me.
I woke up today and felt pretty shitty about everything, had a very tramatic dream i couldnt get out of no matter how many times i woke up. Im debating on posting the actual photo here cause of how shitty im feelin, and how crazy i look, but its not like anyone reads these or comes to my page any more anyways....
“Black Ken” by Lil B
When the rap game goes right, Lil B goes left. For years the Based God was the outlier in the genre, making music that wasn’t “hip-hop” enough for the general public, but now that an entire generation has been influenced by his works, he’s decided to make the most unabashedly “hip-hop” album in years. With flows from the 80’s, beats from the Bay Area’s heyday, and random references to obscure rap legends like Charles Hamilton, J Diggs, MF DOOM, and J-Good, there’s nothing more “hip-hop” than Black Ken. Truly, Lil B was “real hip-hop” all along, it just took the rest of the game a few years to catch up.
