New Personal Work - BRIDGE DAY - Link in bio . . . At 876 feet tall, the New River Gorge Bridge serves as the launch point for six hours of safe, legal B.A.S.E. jumps, one day per year. On the third Saturday in October in Fayette County, West Virginia, USA, hundreds of adrenaline junkies hurl themselves off of the world’s second longest single arch bridge during an event sanctioned by the US National Park Service. This past year marks the events’ 40th anniversary but I have been coming to the gorge for nearly 20 years to get my own fix of adrenaline via class V whitewater.
