does basilikclaw succeed? and did fadespots accept her request or did he just kinda flip out about it? do any other cats know, like is basilikclaw running some sort of secret rebellion or is she throwing the coup alone? (also, i hope she has a plan to kill the deputy, if gleamstar even has one lmao)

Oh she does. She clawed Gleamstar's belly open and drags his weak, limp body to her rat pit and she sits and makes sure Gleamstar won't be coming back.

She goes home and tells Skyclan that Gleamstar is dead and she's made herself the new leader of the clan and has chosen Fadespots as her deputy. He accepts cause the clan has gone too long without one and he's the best fit to counter Basiliskclaw's personality.

Basiliskstar's first act as leader is to find and bring both Stagleap and Fawnflower home.

basilikclaw has a brother??? :0 tell us more abt him!! did he help her out in any way?

His name is Basilpounce!! He's a very small and fragile trans tom. He's soft spoken and very, very sweet. A lot sweeter than his sister haha, he was born a runt and was fairly sickly. Fallenstar had no interest in him so big sis Basiliskkit took care of her brother and pushed him to a queen that nursed him. He never really grew much bigger past an apprentice. His role in the clan is a lot of scouting since he's so small and doesn't have enough weight to even crumble a leaf in fall!

Basilpounce didn't really help his sister but knew what she was planning on doing. He tried to stop her, not because he thought Gleamstar was a good leader but because he was afraid of the clan rejecting Basiliskclaw and exiling her, but Basiliskclaw just gently moved her brother aside and went on with her plans.

Fadespots is chosen as deputy by Basiliskstar when she takes over Skyclan because while shes fiery and very militant Fadespots is more rational and lax. He's just calm and thinks things through at each step before making a final call.

That's not to say he can't be fiery and at times brutal himself it just takes more to get him to that point. Unlike Basiliskstar, she was born hype and angry lmao

Here's a fun fact about Basiliskclaw, I could lie and say she's named after a basilisk lizard but the reality is I named her after the monster
