Writing-day with baslandia
Me and my dear friend Malin had a writing-day today. And it was alot of fun! I didn't get a crazy amount of things written but atleast something. We did an writing exercise called 'fill in the blanks' where we got the beginning of a story and also the finishing sentence. So our job was to write what happened inbetween. And we had about 5-10min to do so. Having a certain amount of time to write for was really helpfull, it made me focus my writing on what was important to bring the story forward. And you know, not overthinking what I wrote. When I write I sometimes have the tendency to overexplain things too, because I have this vision in my head, I see the scene like a movie, and I want the reader to see what I see. But as a reader, you don't want everything overexplained, you need some room for your own imagination to work its magic. Anyways, really looking forward to the next writing-day!
