slightly obscure dnd character questions — && Wormwood (Bastet Bahati) . 15.) Describe their ideal date. — Despite having a delightful powerhouse of a babe for a girlfriend, Wormwood has been on exactly zero dates. Saving Waterdeep just seems to be something that takes up most of her time, apparently. But if she ever got the chance to take a break and just go somewhere nice, she’s never seen a forest and has always wanted to visit one. Where Wormwood grew up, the desert was empty save for the oasis she and her people built their lives around. She knew the occasional palm frond, but even the plants that grew around the oasis were shrubby to beat the heat or stout and waxy to conserve their water. Waterdeep was just a massive city - trees were far and few between. It wasn’t much better. Maybe it’d be more than a date; maybe it’d have to be more like a trip, but for Wormwood, an ideal date would be packing up to hike or camp or just have lunch, and go find an amazing forest to trek through and experience, to see things like mushrooms and deer and cute creeks and flowers. 22.) What kind of person would they never side with? — Wormwood absolutely cannot side with a person without an ounce of goodwill in their intentions. That sounds like a very easy descriptor, but even some of the most self-motivated people usually have a reason - someone or something they care about that provides them with the desire to see the world change in their favour. But there are the occasional people who don’t want that - people who would rather hurt and raze all for coin they can’t spend or for some sick perversion of strength to stroke their brittle, broken ego. Wormwood can sympathize with someone misguided who needs better direction (even if her brutal honesty and hot temper means she isn’t the one to give it), but never with someone whose entire motivation is simply to ruin. 30.) What never gets old for your character? Something your character can’t get enough of? — - Dragons. Wormwood’s little druid dream is to just be a dragon, and her chimera-morphing prowess has granted her the arm or the teeth at times, but never the full dream of being a dragon for just a little while. (She’s also canonically befriended a dragon, and her admiration has been so strong that even if he hadn’t taught her to shift, she would have kept swimming out to see him anyway.) - Seltzer water. Wormwood hates eating and has no need for it, but there’s been this advent in culinary exploits that puts little bubbles in water, and getting her hands on a bottle of that good good has never not put a smile on her face. It’s not really the taste so much as the spicy-but-not-spicy feeling of the bubbles on her tongue. - Thunk. Their resident basement dwarf boy, Thunk is an integral member of their team and for some reason so fucking adamant that dwarves do not eat rocks. This inspires Wormwood to mention this often. He always gets so heated about it. It’s hilarious!
