an FTM blogger i follow pointed out that this online RPG programmer said transphobic things and that transpeople should stay off the site. after that guy got demoted for his comments, the blogger got flooded with “ur a crazy SJW" & “transtrender" asks
yeah, it's like, people call out social justice warrior because something they like is threatened even it's legitimately problematic
and then someone goes, "WELL IT'S THEIR OPINION" or "WHY BOTHER THEM IF THEY ENJOY IT"
and you want to shake them and shout, "you're defending someone being homophobic/transphobic because you've convinced yourself that everyone's opinion is valid because of some amendment that you're misunderstanding it's purpose, even when the opinion based in lies about that group, or people are genuinely hurting others. and when an opinion is not only hurtful but coming from misinformation, it is actually wrong."
and if you call out social justice warrior, not because they're actually be a social justice warrior, but they said something you didn't like pertaining to race or something and it's connected to something you like, then it's like you've invalidated them whether they're right or not, and usually they've only said something true
