City lights canvassed Gotham under grey drifting clouds. A veil of fog sifted over South Point from the east river, disguising a meeting of rough voices. The gang sat on crates, sharpening knives and loosely handling firearms. A woman fitted in leather with a bandana tied behind her forehead was walking the perimeter, occasionally crossing paths with another man flicking a knife up high and catching it again.

Nothing good was being discussed. The group was edgy, shifting looks behind their shoulders. By now everyone knew Gotham was protected by Batman and…

“Batgirl, look at this.” A smiling cowled shadow perched on a ledge, crouched over the meeting like a cat to the attention of the gang. “What do you think we can get them for? Loitering? Or how about illegal possession and distribution.”

Voices cut into the air with a chime of 'It's the Bat!' before guns fumbled haphazardly, safeties coming off at once. Batman was already jumping down on the scene.
