Ok, I know it might be considered a bit ironic right now, but I just happened on this year’s national park quarter and... it has a Samoan fruit bat with a pup and I love this so much!

With tumblr going down hill fast...

I’ve been thinking of taking my designs of Hildon and officially making an oc out of him. Hildon from OP was his origin, and is still inspired by him, but over the years he really has grown into something else.

This has been on my mind for a while now. Ever since the time skip I have been losing interest in OP. It feels like the series lost a lot of the fun and silly side of things that I greatly enjoyed. There’s still stuff I like from it, but not enough for me to want to continue reading...

So after hearing some input from various folks, I have decided to go ahead and do it! The bat will go into his own original universe for adventures, along with Jun, Rid and Git. (Jun minus her devil fruit and Rid and Git? ...not spider mice?! We’ll see~ )

The bat is probably going to need a new name? So I’m open to suggestions while I search. Might make a straw poll once I get a few options? 

Hildon is a name in the real world with real history behind it, so if all else fails to sound like a good replacement, he might keep it?
