One trope that will never not made me not go feral is when it's a interspecies relationship and a (usually tiny) human goes defensive mode over their non-human partner.
Like, that scene in Beauty and the Beast right before the Mob song when Gaston calls the Beast a monster and Belle gets so mad and just goes "he is not a monster, YOU ARE!" with the most offended face expressions ever
Or a similar scene in Monster in Paris where Lucille goes "there sure is a monster in Paris but it's not him it's you" while using her whole body to shield Francour
Or that scene in Shape of Water where they are trying to break Amphibian Man out and that russian doctor walks in and Eliza just instinctively shield AM, no hesitation
And just how offended Charlie got when someone disrespected Bumblebee. "He is not a weapon" and "HE IS MORE HUMAN THAN YOU EVER BE!!!" while kicking and fighting a guy twice her size. Girl was standing on business
Just an imagine of a tiny human girl protecting her non-human, tall AF boyfriend. Love it
I don't know why I did this, I guess I just found the situation of creating an AU out of this funny, and for some strange reason, I liked how strangely good it was??--I don't know if I'll do more of this, but I guess I'm open to suggestions if you want me to draw another scene from the movie or do another AU cendy but with another movie or series! (I think it's obvious but Mavis is Bendy, Johnny is Cuphead and the Devil is Dracula)
By the way, I don't like spam but even though I love Tumblr, sometimes I forget to upload things here, so if you want to follow me more closely, follow me on Instagram, I'm much more active there: https://www.instagram.com/0melody.marquez0/
like - flush him in the toilet, reblog - let that pathetic creature live one more day
my favorite drawing technique is called "slap on the canvas all the colors you want, correct it all with different 293892 brushes from your collection, and just look at the end result"
well, or I just like to try new and new brushes and new techniques.
anyway enjoy cute Samuel
For those of you thinking about getting the new BATD shirt I made a little review! Plus a silly little bonus video! 😜
I thought I'd always prefer the old version because I find that washed-out look so charming, but the print is just so vibrant and crisp that I'm instantly in love with it!! 😍❤️🩵 The fabric is very soft, thick and sturdy. It does have a tag, but that’s very soft, too.
It survived the washing machine well, didn't even bleed out much. The print is unharmed. The fit is as expected. I like to wear those as comfy at-home-clothes and got a size M. (I have a 90cm bust.) The neckline is surprisingly small though. Not a problem for me as I have a tiny head and neck, but I found it notable.
The material is quite thick, a rather warm t-shirt! Don’t see myself wearing it much during summer.
And now for that bonus video! 😂
This took forever to make but I finally finished it and am releasing it for the Inkdemonth Day 19: Entertainment! Which seemed to be the best place it fit besides the ones I missed. I hope everyone enjoys!
