At the start of August, I was lucky to attend a bat monitoring event at Minnekhada Regional Park in Coquitlam. Great atmosphere in a fantastic setting of an old farmstead 1) Patiently waiting at the old barn as dusk settles and the bats begin to emerge. 2) Great weather vane 3) Old milking barn where we did hear and see barn owls 4) Horse stables where we were able to go wait at the stalls and sense the bats emerging - SO cool! 🦇 5) Moon rise in the smokey skies from the forest fires. . . #bats #batmonitoring #minnekhada #minnekhadaregionalpark #regionalparks #loveourparks #mvrp50 #iloveithere #getoutside #dusk #moonrise #latergram #coquitlam (at Minnekhada Regional Park)
