basic profile/backstory under the cut!
In the forests of Pairlune, there lived a regular bat named Nastasia who spent her nights flying and foraging for food alongside her colony. Life was simple and peaceful, until one night a gust of wind separated her from her colony. As she tried to fly towards her home tree, instead she flew right into a netting trap; what almost could've been her death.
That same night, the Count was searching for his lost love Timpani not knowing where she could be. He came across a bat stuck in a trap and chose to save her life. He calmed down the bat saying that everything will be okay and that she is free to fly now. The bat felt grateful to the Count for saving her life and squeaked out a “thank you” as she then flew free. Strong feelings of love and gratitude rushed through Nastasia. She had to repay him, no matter what. A shooting star heard those feelings and gave her humanity. She swore her life to the Count that very night as she began to work alongside him to fulfill the dark prophecy.
With her newfound humanity, she has to learn a lot about life, relationships with others, and the experiences both good and bad life may hold. Nastasia can be strict and intimidating, but is also introverted and can be anxious at times. She loves tracking the moon phases, reading, playing the piano, and enjoys her friends' company. What will she do when she realizes that the dark prophecy she’s been working towards will destroy the very humanity and bonds that she grows attached to?
