His heart was beating faster then he liked, it’s not like he was doing anything major. Just another small thief [ borrowing, he told himself. But he knew it wasn’t true. Nor did he care anymore, the numbness taken over, only the thrill left. ]
Walking at a normal pace, a hood covering most of his face, he held the stolen items close. A knife, a ring, a bracelet. Small things he told himself. Of no importance to the ones he took them from. Didn’t matter. He had tricked himself into buying his own lies.
Turning the corner quickly into one of the alleyways Tetsu let out a small grunt of surprise when he bumped into someone. About to let out an angry remark his voice died in his throat as he looked at the other.
“ ...KENDOU. ”
Panic took over him, urging him to run away as quickly as he could. But his limbs were frozen in place. Only letting him stare at her in frozen shock. For the first time in weeks doubt pestered him.
[ how long has it been? Weeks? Months? He didn’t want to think of it.. ]
Juzo regards Kendou with a warm gaze, ever appreciative of her concern for his well being, as well as the well beings of all the students in class 1-B. There’s a reason shes the representative - a fitting role, he thinks - though sometimes he can’t help but wonder if she perhaps worries too much.
Or maybe there’s no such thing.
Her concern here is valid, as Juzo had indeed stumbled over his own two feet (a screaming rarity for him, as he’s so well composed) due to an impromptu dizzy spell. As requested, he takes a seat down in hopes to calm the spinning of the room.
Only then does he open his mouth to speak.
“Could I bother you for some water? I think it might help combat...whatever this is.”
The bad news was, it had caused the ball she was hitting to go a little farther than she had intended it to, and now it was somewhere in the woods. In addition to that, she'd have to be the one to go get it now. Ah yes, the dark, scary woods. Perfect for a five year old girl. Regardless of whether it was an accident or not, she did hit it out. Maybe it was because she knew she had a quirk now, but she was feeling particularly brave.
Normally she'd have an idea of where everything was, but since her family was only visiting the Kanagawa Prefecture, these woods were entirely new to her. Now, to find that ball, which could have landed anywhere.
A few times she thought she saw something moving out of the corner of her eye, but when she turned around there was nothing there. As odd as it was, Kendō continued walking, until it was even darker out.
"I'm never going to find anything like this, I should just head back and apologize." However, before she turned around, she saw silhouettes moving on her right, causing the poor girl to freeze for a moment, before screaming and making a run for it.
So much for bravery.
Somewhere along the way, she tripped and fell right on her face. Even more panic settled in when she felt something on her leg, desperately trying to tug it off. "LET GO OF ME!"
The plant seemed to listen, unwrapping itself and retreating back into a bush, as another one came right at her. Flinching, Kendō closed her eyes and held her hands up in front of her, relaxing once she noticed it wasn't even touching her, and seeing the ball she had lost earlier in it.
"Th... Thank you." Curiosity got the better of her, and instead of leaving when she got the toy back, she tossed it into the bush the vine was coming from. It was tossed out immediately, which led to the orange-haired girl quietly moving towards it, before pulling the leaves aside to reveal what just looked like a pile of vines.
"... Who are you?" It had to be a person after all, plants didn't just move by themselves. The pile shifted, before looking back up at her, showing that the vines were coming from her head.
"Shiozaki... I'm sorry, but... that was yours, right? There's a lot of stuff here, and it looked like you were trying to find something." Standing up, the strange girl moves her hair(?) out of her face, black eyes staring at the other girl. "If it wasn't, I can try and help you find the right one, but it's getting pretty late."
"And this," A quick gesture to the vines on her head, "That's your quirk?"
"Oh, well, um, yes. It's not much, but-"
"That's so cool!"
"... Huh? Y-you really think so?"
"Who wouldn't? There's so much you could do with that!"

Also, you show the awkward, flustered and self conscious side of her and I actually love u for that. honestly that’s one of the things i worry about, that i play up that awkward self conscious side too much so i’m really glad to hear that isn’t the case. honestly i’m just glad to know you like my portrayal so much.
