I'd recommend Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte and We Have Always Lived in The Castle by Shirley Jackson! They're two of my favourite books ❤️

omg that's so funny because I'm actually reading we have always lived in the castle right now !! I'm still at the beginning but I LOVE it so far ahhh the whole vibe of the story is so good ahh can't wait to read a little bit more after work later !! and I will definitely put jane eyre on my tbr, I wanted to read it since ages anways, so maybe it's time !! ♡

not weird At All actually thank you very much ❣️ i don't know why i always feel the need to ramble about whatever's on my mind in the tags but knowing that someone enjoys reading it definitely makes it feel a lot less pointless as if that ever stopped me so very much appreciated :')

i love reading other people's tags too and getting a tiny glimpse into parts of their lives you normally wouldn't, it always feels like finding a love letter in a library book or things scratched into an old school desk or bathroom stall & even if it's just the initials of who they're in love with at the time or how boring class is, it's the residue of their life and a little window into their heart and i'm definitely rather nosy myself lmao (but i don't think that's a bad thing?) and very much enjoy every opportunity to peek through that window!!

Idk if the anon from before will see this 😅 but I'm self studying japanese + I use the online pdf's for genki 1+2 textbooks (you can find them via google for free! x), memrise for vocabulary and wanikani for kanji and also japanese ammo with misa is a rly good youtube channel which goes through grammar points and has good explanations 😊 hopefully this is helpful for someone ❤ x
