started the setup of a new mini PC/NAS/server for our home and so far so good!! such fun to tinker with :)
did a very basic Debian Trixie install without desktop environment (because Ephron wanted CLI only, the nerd). we installed Kodi quite successfully, transferred some videos via SSH, installed the VRT MAX add on (to watch Flemish TV), and it all works perfectly!!
now to set up a nextcloud and hopefully share/backup some files through our own server/NAS instead of a cloud service. that and host a website or two. gonna be pretty cool
