Time had come to report to William all he’d found out hanging out with Dallon and of course get paid again. Bayden was really starting to get a little nest egg going in a secret place at the asylum. That money was his dream in a jar. Everything inside him rode on this job which meant doing a good one and keeping William happy.
When he was let into the office he greeted him with a smile of familiarity and a wave. “Hey boss. So uh, I know it’s payday and all, but I figured you’d want to hear about Dallon. It’s been awhile. I know you wanted me to report to you. Is now a good time?”
